Large Lodge at Rainier Lodge (0.4 m from entrance)

Highly recommend staying at the Rainer Lodge. It has a lot of character and made hosting our large group easy. One of the main selling points for us was easy access to the national park entrance along with amenities to accommodate our large group. Everyone appreciated having their own bed, three full bathrooms to share, and excellent bonfire seating area. Plenty of hot water as well which comes in handy after everyone returns from a long day on the mountain. The front porch is perfect for a cup of coffee or a game of cards on a rainy day. The baseboard heating works great and it’s plenty cozy on a cold night. The kitchen layout, commercial sink, and large hood makes it easy to cook for large groups. We were excited to see there were 2 stove/ovens with separate preparation areas. Made it so much easier to prepare the meals. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, cookware, charcoal grill, and cups. The host is proactive, communicative and cares about you enjoying your stay.

Wendy was amazing! She was very helpful and talkative. Made our entire family feel at home. We will be making this an annual trip due to how perfect the entire experience was. The large cabin easily fit almost 20 people. The fire pit was a great place to hang out close to the cabin. We were able to prepare all meals with multiple fridges and stoves. The outdoor charcoal grill was large enough to cook for everyone as well. There was plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. There is a small over priced general grocery store about one mile down the road and a few restaurants if needed. Paradise is close by. There is a large clearing in front of the cabin with a fire pit with log seating and a large area where kids can run around for hours. If you are looking to find a place where you can accommodate a large group, roast marshmallows while talking late into the night, and kids can run around this is the place.
